- Options are useful tools but have to be well understood as they carry high risk
- Get familiar with how they work when bought or sold and the effect of volatility, life of the option, strike price, and how the asset class affects the option prices
- Learn how options function as a protection tool and an income generating instrument
- Understand asset allocation and its significance to investment strategy
- Be introduced to economic indicators, the release schedule, and the significance to investing
- Get familiar with charts and technical analysis in order to decide when to enter or exit an investment and to use stops to limit losses or to protect profits
- Obtain basic knowledge of money markets , bonds and equities
- Learn and comprehend the available investment tools with live market data
- Understand commodity markets, how they function
- Know how and where to access financial markets
- Get familiar with technical analysis by understanding and interpreting chart data
